Warsaw High School Class Of 1948

The Warsaw High School class of 1948 met for breakfast Aug. 5.

Those attending were Frank and Vi Unruh, Joe and Lois Besson, John and Shirley Hand, Idlee Armey, Stan Stokes, Bud Stiffler, Gwen Carter, Jay Engle and Dora Jane Engle.  

The class will meet again for breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 2 at Richards Restaurant. All classmates are welcome.



Warsaw High School Class Of 1953

Eight members of the Warsaw High School class of 1953 met Monday at Richards Restaurant.

Those attending were Larry and Coraethel Alspaugh McConnell, Roger and Carol Conaway Stump, Allen Hartman, Chris Grow Fox, Don Frush and Ken Schaaf.

The next meeting will be at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 18 at Richards.



Warsaw High School Class Of 1957

The Warsaw High School class of 1957 will celebrate 60 years Sept. 8-9 at the Wyndham Garden, 2519 E. Center St., Warsaw. Both nights will be in the main floor banquet rooms.

On Sept. 8, an open house will be at 6 p.m. with a cash bar and plenty of appetizers. Friends, relatives and former teachers are invited.

On Sept. 9, classmates will meet at 6 p.m. for social time, and promptly at 6:30 p.m. a group picture will be taken. A buffet dinner will be at 7:30 p.m.  

Casual attire is OK for both nights.

Reservations for the Saturday night dinner must be returned by Aug. 31.



Warsaw High School Class Of 1961

Warsaw High School class of 1961 will meet for lunch Wednesday.

The luncheon will be at noon at Bob Evans restaurant, Warsaw. All members of the class, spouses and friends are welcome.

The Warsaw High School class of 1948 met for breakfast Aug. 5.

What I haven’t heard mentioned are the eleven towers scattered across it - eleven towers that you have to till, plant, and harvest around. Heaven forbid you hit one. Planes that spray my fields can’t hit the full area because of these obstacles. I’ve got four irrigation units running to irrigate the best I can, where normally two would suffice.
