The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 2:20 p.m. Wednesday – Hunter Colten Schue, 19, of 545 Clinic Court, Warsaw, arrested for driving while suspended and driving without a license. Bond: $450.

• 3:44 p.m. Wednesday – Catherine Kay Anderson, 38, Columbia City, arrested for resisting law enforcement using a vehicle. Bond: $750. 

• 5:54 p.m. Wednesday – Jared Donald Houser, 27, Columbia City, arrested on a warrant for Whitley County. No bond set. 

• 10:15 p.m. Wednesday – Ricky Jay Bayne, 57, of 521 N. Colfax St., #D, Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set.



Property Damage Accidents

• 9:07 a.m. Wednesday – Intersection of North Detroit and Lyon streets, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Ashlee Swanson, 33, Second Street, North Manchester; Melinda Foreman, 41, Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Warsaw Police Department investigated. 

• 11:51 a.m. Wednesday – 1150 Husky Trail, Warsaw. Car hit parked vehicle registered to Megan Bibler, CR 400W, Claypool. Driver: Trevor Prater, 18, CR 775E, Pierceton. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. WPD.

• 3:06 p.m. Wednesday – A person reported the theft of money and credit cards from a vehicle in the 700 block of Eagle Street, Warsaw. WPD. 

• 9:13 a.m. Wednesday –  A person reported fraudulent charges on his debit card in the 2000 block of Deer Trail Road, Warsaw. WPD.

• 10:41 p.m. Wednesday – A male reported his ex-girlfriend violated a protective order and assaulted him in the 600 block of Turkey Drive, Milford. Milford Police Department investigated.

This comprehensive strategy addresses roadway safety in St. Joseph, Elkhart, Kosciusko and Marshall counties and is now available for public review and comment until June 9.
