ROCHESTER – Manchester had two players finish in the top 11, helping the Lady Squires to a third-place finish in Saturday’s Rochester Invitational girls golf tournament at Round Barn Golf Club.
The Lady Squires finished at 360, winning a fifth-player tiebreaker over Northridge for the third spot behind champion Culver Academies (325) and Western (349). Wawasee was sixth at 390, Tippecanoe Valley was 14th at 532 and Whitko 15th at 540.
Kelsey Eichenauer tied for eighth overall at 85, and Samantha Kissell was 11th at 88. Lydia Little shot a 91, Madyson Ulrey a 96 and Cora Barnett a 107.
Belle Brunner of Wawasee tied for 12th at 90. Zoe White had a 95, Lesley Tayagua a 101, Jadison Rostochak a 104, and Tate Cowan a 106.
Makayla Sandbakken had a 108 to lead Valley. Makayla Compton had Whitko’s best score at 131.
Manchester hosts Three Rivers Conference teams Rochester, North Miami and Southwood at Sycamore Golf Club today. Wawasee has a Northern Lakes Conference match with Warsaw and host Elkhart Memorial at Christiana Creek Golf Club today. Whitko will host Wabash today, also at Sycamore, and Valley hosts Bremen and Triton at Round Barn Wednesday.

Warsaw’s Orange team finished sixth and Triton was ninth at the Warsaw Invitational girls golf tournament Saturday at Stonehenge Golf Club.
The Lady Tigers finished at 383 and Triton at 448. Warsaw had a second team in the field; it finished ninth among 10 teams.
Madelyn Ray posted a 92 to lead the Lady Tiger Orange team, with Izzy Ray at 99. Grayson Kilburn and Delaney Wihebrink each had a 101 and Brooklyn Fitzgerald had a 122.
The Black team had Julia Hildebrand at 105, Anna Morgan at 114, Miriam Hagg at 118 and Valerie Messmore at 120.
Triton was paced by Alysha May at 104, followed by Kate Garoner at 107. Whytnie Miller had a 118, Delanie Groves a 119 and Megan McFarland a 125 for the Trojans.
Lakeland Christian’s Abby Fishel had a 106.
Homestead was the team titlist; its 318 was 30 shots better than second-place NorthWood.
