2017 Woodies Scholarship Winners Announced

The Woodies Supermarket Education Scholarship Trust has announced the 2017 scholarship winners.

This year, 13 high school and 12 college students received a total of $22,500. The students and the amounts they received are:



College

$1,000 — Zachary?Allen, Indiana Wesleyan University; Lucas Cone, Grace College; Analiese Helms, Taylor University; Clairissa Kehler, Purdue University; Caleb Klusman, Indiana University; Lindsay Lybarger, Indiana University Purdue University; Shelby Perry, Grace College; William Petro, Purdue University; Danielle Straits, Taylor University; Mikayla Metzger, Grace College.

$500 — Jacob Poyner, Lipscomb University; Karly Poyner, Grace College.

High School

$1,000 — Eric Baumgartner, Indiana State University; Bailey Berelsman, Butler University; Page Desenberg, North Central College; Matthew Hastings, University of Michigan Ann Arbor; Briana Kelley, Butler University; Alex Miller, Indiana University Purdue University; Sydney Miller, Manchester University; Courtney Thompson, Taylor University; Makenzie Welk, Indiana University Bloomington.

$750 — Charlene Orr,  Purdue University; Lauren Orr, Purdue University.

$500 — Tsige Berelsman, Inspire College of Cosmetology; Allison Miller, Butler University.

The Woodies Supermarket?Scholarship?Fund was founded in 1978 by?Woodie and Devota Schrammn.

The fund has provided approximately $815,000 to 1,397 Warsaw graduates since its inception.
