Gloria J. Wade, 87, Warsaw, passed away at 2:04 a.m. Friday, Aug. 11, 2017, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

She was born Feb. 4, 1930, in Fulton County, to Elmer Glen and Hattie Marie Carey Woods. She was united in marriage to Maynard Wade in Silver Lake on Jan. 1, 1949.

She was former resident of Burket and was employed as a beautician for the Winona Lake Beauty Shop. Furthermore, she was an accountant for Maynard Wade Construction and for Colonial Woodcraft, where she additionally served as a crafter for their products.

She is survived by her husband, Maynard Wade, Warsaw; son, David (spouse Stephen Chambers) Wade, Bloomington; daughter, Janet (spouse Larry) Miller, Leesburg; grandchildren, Naomi (spouse Tim) Collins and Tacy (spouse Marty) Radowski; and great-grandchildren: Hannah and Alivia Collins and Caitlyn and Geneva Radowski.

She was preceded by her siblings Maxine, Sadie, Don, Lloyd, Dick and Billy.

Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Aug. 15, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services will follow immediately at noon in the funeral chapel, with Rod Mayer officiating.

Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake.
