Reunion: Monroe School, 100 Years

A 100-year celebration is planned for alumni of Monroe School.

The gathering will begin at 4 p.m. Sept. 2 at Claypool United Methodist Church, 302 E. Section St., Claypool. Cost is $13 per person and includes a meal that will be catered by Grace College.

Those who attend are encouraged to bring memorabilia from their time at Monroe School.

RSVPs are required by Aug. 25. Send reservations, including checks, to Aseneth Wilson, 6696 S. 300 E., Claypool, IN 46510.

ATWOOD – The congregation at Atwood Otterbein Church will celebrate the 98th anniversary of the building of their church at 306 E. Main St., Atwood, on Sunday at their 9:30 a.m. service. The congregation celebrates its Heritage Day each May.
