The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 8:13 a.m. Thursday – Monique  Elaine Rodriguez, 27, Riverside, Calif., arrested for operating a  motor vehicle while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a chemical test and resisting law enforcement. Bond: $750.

• 9:15 a.m. Thursday – Scotty Allen Poe, 18, of 600 Oldfather St., Warsaw, arrested for burglary. Bond: $10,250. 

• 12:05 a.m. Thursday – Kevin Yousef Swayne Hudson, 22, of 404 Parker St., Warsaw, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $400.

• 12:03 p.m. Thursday – James Charles Walsh, 39, Goshen, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $184.

• 12:11 p.m. Thursday – Anthony Paul Price, 41, Bloomington, arrested for possession of marijuana, and failure to appear. Bond: $20,260,

• 4:40 p.m. Thursday – Justin Michael Lewellen, 35, of 7280 E. CR 650N, North Webster, arrested for parole violation. No bond set.

• 5:11 p.m. Thursday – James Marks, 55, of 12905 N. Bonestead Road, North Manchester, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.



Property Damage Accidents

• 2:24 a.m. Thursday – Intersection of South Lake and West Jefferson streets, Warsaw. Car got stuck on the railroad tracks. Driver: Monique Rodriguez, 27, Riverside Calif. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 6:39 a.m. Thursday – Intersection of Ind. 14 and CR 450W, Silver Lake. Car hit deer.  Driver: Leanna Hall, 44, CR 1200S, Silver Lake. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. Kosciusko?County Sheriff’s Department investigated. 

• 9:50 a.m. Thursday – 2501 Walton Blvd., Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Kip Chamberlin, 37, Centennial Street, Nappanee; Donald Cole, 73, Rotona West, Fla. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.

• 12:40 p.m. Thursday – 3230 W. Shutt Ave., Silver Lake. Semi hit parked vehicle registered to  Michael O’Brien, West Shutt Avenue, Silver Lake. Driver: David Tackett, 58, South County Farm?Road, Warsaw. Damage: $750 to $1,000. Silver Lake Police Department investigated.



Incidents 

 • 11:38 a.m. Thursday – Police responded to the 3000 block of Levi Lee Road, Warsaw, for a minor accident on private property. KCSD.

• 3:39 p.m. Thursday – Police responded to a report of a juvenile stealing items from his grandmother in the 9000 block of East Hatchery Road, Syracuse. KCSD.

• 9:06 p.m. Thursday – A person reported a theft of a wallet and purse in the 1300 block of Mariners Drive, Warsaw. WPD.
