Canines in Bourbon now have a place of their own for exercise and play. The town council approved the addition of the dog park at Westwood Park a few months ago and construction began immediately. Fencing is provided so dogs can run free in either the area designated for large dogs or the one set aside for smaller breeds. According to Bourbon Clerk-Treasurer Kim Berger, plans are to add an obstacle course in the near future. Residents are reminded to follow the posted park rules.
