Triton Wins Twice, Whitko Splits, Fishel Medalist At N. Miami
PERU – Lakeland Christian’s Abigail Fishel was the medalist, and Triton earned two wins in a three-way girls golf match with Whitko and host North Miami at the Peru Municipal Golf Course Monday.
Triton recorded a 220, and Whitko earned a win with a 264 to North Miami’s 279. Fishel led the field with a six-over par 45.
The Lady Trojans were paced by Alysha May with a 51. Delaney Groves posted a 55, Kate Gardner and Megan McFarland each shot 57, and Whytnie Miller had a 63.
Whitko was led by Makayla Compton and Bailey Wright; each shot a 61. Summer West had a 69, Erin Starkweather a 73 and Kayce Simms a 74.
Triton will play against Rochester and host Warsaw at Stonehenge Golf Club on Thursday. Whitko plays Southern Wells today.

Lady Tigers Fifth At Canterbury Tourney
FORT WAYNE – Grayson Kilburn and Delaney Wihebrink each shot 97, leading Warsaw to a fifth-place finish at the Fort Wayne Canterbury girls golf tournament Monday.
Madelyn Ray had a 98, Izzy Ray had 100 and Mirian Hagg shot a 106 for the Lady Tigers.
Homestead teams took the first two places in the team competition, and put eight players in the top 12. NorthWood, led by Mackenzie Weaver’s 81, finished third. The Lady Panthers had five players in the top 16.
The Lady Tigers teed off this morning against West Noble at South Shore Golf Club in Syracuse. They will host Triton and Rochester at Stonehenge on Thursday.
