Bob was born Nov. 12, 1933, the son of Myron and Alma Allen Densmore. Bob graduated from Monterey High School in 1951.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955 in the 317th Combat Engineer Battalion.
He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church and was employed by United Telephone (Sprint) for 39 years before retiring.
Bob was a Bremen resident from 1990-2016 and drove a school bus for Bremen public schools. His hobbies included fishing, working leather, archery, woodworking, shooting firearms, amateur radio operator and crossword puzzles.
He is survived by four children: Kevin Densmore, Indianapolis; Doug (Janet) Densmore, Knox; Mike Densmore, Knox; and Tracey (Joe) Lardino, Pierceton; seven grandchildren: Erin (Jose) Castro, Josh Lardino, Brian Lardino, Adam Densmore, Brittney (Kevin) Whittaker, Andy Stone and Brandon Stone; and four great-grandchildren: Christian, Kamryn, Delilah and Jaxon. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Twanette Densmore, Arizona, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Aug. 3, in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 Ind. 331, Bremen.
Funeral services will follow at noon in the funeral home, and burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Knox, with full military honors.
