Street Brother Sign With Indiana Wesleyan
By Staff Report-
D’Andre Street had a tremendous impact on the Tiger offense, stretching opposing secondaries with his sprinter’s speed and elusive moves.
As a senior, D’Andre caught 40 passes for 565 yards and 12 touchdowns, which is one score short of the school record of 13 scoring receptions in a single season set by Steve Sittler in 1978. As a junior, he caught 12 passes and three of those went for touchdowns.
D’Andre intends to study Pre-Med and would like to work toward becoming an orthopedic surgeon. Not only did he pave the way for big yards for the Tigers on the field, he had a tremendous impact with gains in the community, working with My Team Triumph and the Blitz Community Service projects.
A member of the Tiger Track & Field program, D’Andre had a 3.2 GPA on a 4-point scale.
Devin Street caught 19 passes in the 2016 season for 363 yards and three touchdowns for the Tigers. The 17.2 yards average per reception was a tremendous boost to the Tiger spread offense.
Devin plans to participate in football and he is considering running track for IWU. Planning to major in Marketing, Devin was outstanding in the classroom at WCHS earning a 3.4 GPA on a 4-point scale. Devin also had a tremendous impact in the community, working with the My Team Triumph program as well as the Blitz Community Service program.
Devin and D’Andre will join Warsaw teammate Michael Jensen to play for coach Jordan Lang’s Wildcats.
