WCS Board OKs Madison Principal, Girls Soccer Coach

Barkey had previously been announced to take over as principal for Tom Kline, who is retiring.
Barkey was an assistant principal at Warsaw Community High School. He previously work at as a instructional coach at Washington STEM Academy and a math and science teacher at Edgewood Middle School.
Also by unanimous vote, the board approved Jonathon Hoover to take over as the high school girls soccer coach. Hoover is a physical education at Edgewood Middle school. See related story on 1B.
The short meeting was held in order to get the new hires approved before the end of the school year, said Dr. David Hoffert, Warsaw Community Schools superintendent.
