Jack Elam and the former Janet Hamilton were married April 29, 1952, in Greenfield, by the Rev. Avery Miley of Greenfield Christian Church.
At the time of their marriage, Jack was serving in the United States Air Force.
They are both retired.
The couple have two children, Beth, Peru, Ind., and Joe, New Smyrna Beach, Fla. They have three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
