Wildman Business Group Donates To Beaan Home

Many times a domestic violence victim retreats to the Beaman Home to escape her abuser with only the thought of removing children from a life-threatening situation. There is no time to plan or bring along the necessities to survive. Babies and young children especially need diapers, special beds and necessary equipment for safety and development.
Recently, Wildman Business Group employees donated several cases of diapers and other necessary items for the young children who are served by the Beaman Home.
In a related note, another donation to Beaman was announced at Altrusa International's District 6 meeting. Nearly 1,300 items were donated and another $570 in cash was divided between Beaman, Gabriel's Horn Shelter in Portage County and Housing Opportunities for Dayspring Counseling Center in Valparaiso. Details of the donations were announced at the annual conference in early April at Swan Lake Resort near Plymouth. The Merrillville, Warsaw and Huntington clubs co-hosted the conference this year and chose the recipients.
Beaman Home has provided services to Kosciusko, Fulton and Marshall counties’ victims of domestic violence and their children since 1985.
