Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary
Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary will have its annual homemade soup, pie and beverage lunch next week.
The lunch will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Center Lake Pavilion. Cost is $6, and carry-outs will be available.
A bake sale also is planned.

Friends Of Warsaw Library
Friends of Warsaw Community Public Library held its first book sale at the library April 7-8. The team was led by Linda Campbell, chairperson and treasurer.
For weeks before the sale, volunteers spent hours sorting, organizing, transporting and selling books, DVDs, videos, CDs and memberships.
The Friends group helps the library financially by purchasing equipment and materials not allocated in the budget.
The next fundraising event is a garage sale April 28-29, with all proceeds going to FOL. Book sales will return Aug. 4-5.
Friends of the Library meets the first Monday of the month at 1 p.m. in Meeting Room A. Everyone is welcome.

American Association Of University Women
 The American Association of University Women, Warsaw affiliate, will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at Lakeview Middle School.  Members should park behind the building and enter at the door on the southeast side, and go to the library.  
Amanda Scroggs, Lakeview librarian, will present a session on the Maker Space, which is a curriculum tool used by students to enhance learning. Hostesses for the meeting are Deb Blatz, Renatta Erwin, Janet Kirkpatrick, Doris Everson  and Carol Rappe.  
AAUW membership is open to anyone with an associate (or equivalent) or higher degree from an accredited institution. Guests are always welcome.

Four Seasons Ladies Bridge
The group met April 12 at Wyndham Garden Hotel.
Winners were Erma Swank, Sharon Tuttle, Beth Huffer and Peg Zimmermn.
Swank was the hostess.

Wednesday Night Bridge
The group had six active tables of bridge games April 12 at the end of a warm, sunny day.
The winners were Tony Frazzetta, Tom Anderson, Jim Levandis, Elaine Tripp, Sharon Tuttle, Joan Kizer and Joan Earhart.  
Bob Mayer and Kizer were host and hostess.  

Singles Meeting Friends
The group reported a nice crowd at its April 12 meeting. They welcomed a new person, Dale, to the group.
Donna, Donald's mother, is back from Florida, along with Ray. Rita was also welcomed back.
Several of the group saw the Passion Play at Quaker Haven in Syracuse, and said it was very humbling. They then ate a great dinner in the dining room.
Members met Friday for the group’s monthly game night.
Donna is still taking donations for the Relay For Life event May 13 at Quaker Haven.
The group meets every Wednesday at Martin’s Super Market.

Wyndham Garden Hotel Ladies Bridge
The group met April 13 with three tables playing.
Winners were Rosalee Spear, Joyce Latta and Joan Kizer.
Virginia Horn was hostess.
