SOUTH WHITLEY – Ellie Snep allowed just one hit, with two outs in the fifth inning, and Whitko rolled on offense with a 12-0, five-inning win over visiting West Noble in a non-conference softball game Wednesday.
Snep struck out seven and got the win from the circle.
Shainna Bradley, Andrea Snavely and Kennedy Krull had two hits each, and Bradley drove in four runs. Anna Ousley scored three times.
Whitko (5-1) hosts Whitley County rival Columbia City at 5 p.m. Friday.

Lady ‘Cats Win TRC Match
BUNKER HILL – Whitko won two  singles matches and at No. 2 doubles to earn a 3-2 win at Maconaquah in a Three Rivers Conference girls tennis match Wednesday.
Morgan Keirn took a close 7-5, 7-5 victory over Brandi Jones at No. 1  singles. Delaney Keirn cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Betsy Powell at No. 2 singles. Jenna VanCuren and Manon Sonneville defeated Katie Marshall and Momo Kugo 6-4, 6-2 in the No. 2 doubles match.
Whitko’s junior varsity won four of five matches played. Winning for the Wildcats were Natalie Iholtz, Blair Creamer, Kayla Schipper, and the doubles duo of Izzy Rayner and Katherine Ousley.
The Wildcats are back in action today, hosting TRC foe Northfield.
