 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail.
• 12:11 p.m. Thursday – Mercedes Danielle Williams, 34, of 520 Chinworth Court, #B, Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set. 
• 12:12 p.m. Thursday – Andres Adame Cortes, 28, of 118 E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and criminal mischief. Bond: $1,082.
• 12:40 p.m. Thursday – Cameron Douglas Hunter, 17, Goshen, arrested for sexual battery. Released without bond.
• 3:17 p.m. Thursday – Clayton Charles Rohr, 32, of 310 S. Columbia St., Warsaw, arrested for battery causing bodily injury. Bond $600.
• 3:30 p.m. Thursday – Sierra Lanae Ross, 18, of 3762 W. Old 30, #92E, Warsaw, arrested for battery causing bodily injury. Bond: $600. 
• 4:25 p.m. Thursday  – Nancy Mara Leigh McFarland, 25, Culver, arrested for theft. No bond set.
• 6:20 p.m. Thursday – Samuel James Schultz, 27, Mishawaka, arrested for possession of a narcotic. Bond: $5,250.
• 9:40 p.m. Thursday – Holly Michele Hoover, 36, of 1627 Fisher Ave., Warsaw, arrested on a civil warrant. Bond: $1,139.
• 10:43 p.m. Thursday – Ezekiel Dwayne Fitzpatrick, 22, of 316 S. Lake St., Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set.

• 6:09 p.m. Thursday – Intersection of CR 950W and West Schilling Road, Mentone. Car hit phone box. Driver: Electa Witham, 37, Ind 14, Akron. Injuries: Witham had injuries to her upper arm/shoulder. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

Incident
• 1:51 a.m. today – Police performed a welfare check in the 100 block of Rattington Circle, Warsaw. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
