She and Bob lived in Nappanee, Syracuse, North Webster and Fairfield Glade, Tenn.
As an employee of Fairfield Community Schools from 1970 to 2002, she served as a corporation speech/language pathologist for 23 years and as school library media specialist at Fairfield Jr.-Sr. High School for eight years. She was a 1966 graduate of Leesburg High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in speech pathology and audiology from Ball State University in 1970, and a master of library science degree from Indiana University in 1994.
She was a member of Union Center Church of the Brethren, Nappanee, and Indiana Retired Teachers Association.
She is survived by a sister, Pat (and spouse Charles, deceased) Mishler; a brother, Mike Noel, Leesburg; sisters-in-law, Karen (and spouse Vloris “Gene,” deceased) Noel, Columbus, Ohio; Arietta (and Max, deceased) Noel, Noblesville; Judi (and spouse Jack) Ulrey, Coupeville, Wash.; and Nancy (and spouse Mike, deceased) Treesh, Sugar Land, Texas; and many nieces and nephews, including Milford residents Michael (and spouse Christine) Noel Jr. and their sons, Caden and Griffin.
Also preceding her were her parents; two brothers; two brothers-in-law; parents-in-law, Don and Bernice Ahrns; a nephew, Timothy B. Mishler; and a great-niece, Madelyn Noel Stephenson.
A cremation committal will take place and she will be laid to rest in Milford Cemetery.
Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center is assisting the family with arrangements.
