By Staff Report-

The 18th Annual Shrine Turkey Shoot will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 15 and 16 at Beeson’s Gun Range, 8994 W. CR 25S, Etna Green, just off Crystal Lake Road.
Last year, the Kosciusko County Shrine Club raised over $7,500 in just two days due to local sportsmen and their families, according to a news release.
The annual shoot supports the Kosciusko County Shrine Club. The organization, celebrating 76 years, is best known for the annual trip for third-graders to the Shrine Circus, the release states. Over 60,000 students, since 1957, have been taken to the circus free of charge. In addition, the club supports many other local and national philanthropic organizations.
The turkey shoot is a way for the community to support the Kosciusko County Shrine Club. The public is welcome. Bring the family for food, fellowship and plain old Indiana fall fun to support the Shrine, the release states.
Shoot a paper target, bring your own gun or the Shrine Club can provide one, and shells are provided. Shoot for Maple Leaf Farms Duck, Serenade Foods Chicken, Walmart turkeys or cash. Children, age 14 and under can shoot a .410 to win a .410 provided by Hunting and Tactical Solution of North Webster.
Participants may come for a shoot or a sportsmen’s silent auction.
The following local merchants are sponsoring the event: Ace Hardware, Warsaw; Akron Concrete Products, Albertson’s Sports, Alderfer-Bergan and Co., American Legion Post 49, American Table, Brett Anderson, Back “40”; Batesville, Warsaw; Clear Water Car Wash; Culligan, Warsaw; Culver’s Restaurant, Denlinger Gun Repair, Derry Electric, Downtown Restaurant, Eagle Creek Guns and Knives, Five Star/Jay Solloway, Hall & Morose-Silveus, IDNA/Sportulas, J.
