The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 11:12 a.m. Thursday – Gary Thomas Castle Jr., 23, homeless, arrested for parole violation and failure to register as a sex offender. Bond: $10,250.
• 3:36 p.m. Thursday – Christopher Scott Cochran Jr., 25, of 785 S. Waxwing Lane, Warsaw, arrested for conversion. Bond: $600.
• 5:21 p.m. Thursday – Arnaud Cyusa, 20, Fort Wayne, arrested for driving while suspended and possession of marijuana. Bond: $450.
• 11:48 p.m. Thursday – Terry Allen Hyde, 49, of 340 E. Levi Lee Road, Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a chemical test and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $700.
• 4:35 a.m. Friday – Leo Roy Black, 63, of 312 W. Crystal Flash Road, North Webster, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol level of .15 or higher. Bond: $700.
• 9:15 a.m. Friday – Chase Allen Elder, 32, of 3762 W. Old 30, Warsaw, arrested for failure to pay. Bond: $464.
• 10:11 a.m. Friday – Jordyn Adell Shepherd, 27, of 3541 W. Hill Lake Road, #13, Claypool, arrested for domestic battery. Bond: $1,000.
• 10:53 a.m. Friday – Donald Stewart Gerding, 50, of 318 N. Washington St., Warsaw, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $400.
• 12:24 p.m. Friday – Tiffanie Rose McMichael, 27, of 4051 Forest Glen Ave., Leesburg, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $183.50.

• 9:42 a.m. Thursday – 2400 block of Jalynn Street, Warsaw. Van hit parked car registered to Cory R. Culp, Shaffer Road, Warsaw. Driver: Tracy L. Julian, 45, Briarridge Circle, Warsaw. Damage: $5,000 to $10,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
• 5:32 p.m. Thursday – 400 block of North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Rosalind T. Arnolt, 67, Winona Lake; Matthew L. Meinert, 30, Etna Green. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. WPD.
• 11 a.m. Friday – Detroit Street, south of CR 250N, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Edythe M. Sands, 87, West CR 950S, Silver Lake; Chelsie V. Creekmore, 23, Biscayne Avenue, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. WPD.

• 11:59 a.m. Thursday – A woman reported a theft from her vehicle in the 2200 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. WPD.
• 2:13 p.m. Thursday – A gas station in the 400 block of Argonne Road, Warsaw, reported a driver drove off without paying. WPD.
• 10:22 p.m. Thursday – A man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and possession of paraphernalia in the 2400 block of Jalynn Street, Warsaw. WPD.
• 5:36 a.m. Friday – A drug overdose was reported in the 200 block of South Main Street, Leesburg. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
• 8:22 a.m. Friday – A driver reported being run off the road in the 4200 block of Old 30, Warsaw, causing tire damage. KCSD.
• 10:29 a.m. Friday – A woman reported harassing phone calls in the 300 block of Emeline Street, Milford. Milford Police Department investigated.
• 10:31 a.m. Friday – A woman reported violation of a protective order in the 1800 block of La Vista Drive, Warsaw. WPD.
• 12:26 p.m. Friday – A credit/debit card was found in the 3800 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw, and turned in to the Warsaw Police Department. WPD.

The first ever boys volleyball sectional tournament game for Warsaw came against a familiar playoff foe. Facing off against Penn, the Tigers battled valiantly for four sets, but were unable to finish things off in a 3-1 loss.
