History can be like a bully. It can punch you in the gut, and if you don’t learn your lesson it can punch you in the gut again, only harder. I’m afraid history will punch us in the gut again, only harder, if we refuse to learn the lessons of 9/11.
We know that Mohammed Atta and most if not all of the other 9/11 Islamic terrorists had overstayed their visas and were here illegally But President Clinton refused to have them deported to Saudi Arabia. Because he refused to have the immigration laws enforced, about 3,000 people died. I bet a lot of the victims voted for Clinton because they thought he was the best choice for president. They didn’t know his actions and inactions would condemn them to death.
When Trump said he would have people deported who overstayed their visas, people complained and called him a bigot. Hillary would most likely follow her husband’s example and the chances of terrorist acts in the future will increase. If she is allowed to seize the presidency, I expect more terrorism to be imported into America and the death toll will possibly be millions.
I don’t expect planes to be used the next time. There has been enough time for terrorists to be in place around the country to do a multipronged attack. If terrorist cells and leaders discover vulnerabilities, they’ll exploit them.
The internet is a superhighway of information and ways to communicate that is more potent than it was in 2001. If guardians of the internet aren’t vigilant, gas and oil pipelines, power plants and transmission systems, water supplies, communications systems and transportation systems will be attacked where the maximum number of casualities will be inflicted. Couple that with cargo shipping in which suicide bombers and dirty bombs could be stored in cargo containers, harbors along our coasts could be ground zeroes of nuclear destruction and millions of deaths. The NSA and Homeland Security need to know what and who are coming into this country to make sure demons of death don’t reap a harvest of death and mayhem.
The November election may determine if the destruction will come soon or be delayed. If history will be repeated with a vengeance, Hillary will be elected and deliver this nation to hell sooner, I fear. If Trump is elected and the needed precautions are taken, we might prevent much of the destruction. But if North Korea and other nations that hate America gain access to advanced missile and weapons technology, we may have the destruction of America no matter who is president.
