 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 1:05 p.m Tuesday – Ernest Jerome Nelson, 25, Fort Wayne, arrested for theft. Bond: $5,250.
• 2:33 p.m Tuesday – Jose Luis Ruiz, 25, of 106 W. Market St., Nappanee, arrested for a probation violation. No bond set.
• 5:42 p.m Tuesday – Jennifer Ann Dawson, 41, of 719 W. Market St., Nappanee, arrested for driving while being classified as a habitual traffic violater. Bond: $5,250.
• 6:04 p.m. Tuesday – Edward Russell Madison, 47, Alliance, Ohio, arrested for probation violation. No bond set.
• 9:52 p.m Tuesday – Bobbi Jo Petri, 44, Fort  Wayne, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set.
•10:08 p.m. Tuesday –Noah Michael Miller, 36, of 10402 Ind. 15, 7, Silver Lake, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $450.
• 12:11 a.m today – David Lee Watkins, 29, of 1202 Wooster Road, #60, Winona Lake, arrested for invasion of privacy Bond: $1,500.
• 12:14 a.m. today – James Franklin Osborne, 64, of 805 Southside Drive,?Warsaw, arrested for public intoxication. Bond: $400.
• 3:50 a.m. today – Marco Iran Guzman, 28, of 123 E. Rochester St., Akron, arrested for possession of meth and battery with a bodily injury. Bond: $15,500.

• 5:26 p.m Tuesday – 506 S. Detroit St.,?Warsaw. Car hit parked vehicle registered to Carrie Pratt, North Main Street, Syracuse. Driver: Shannon Belcher, 47, Dogwood Drive, Rochester. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. WPD.
• 6:56 p.m Tuesday – Intersection of Lake City Highway and North Parker Street, Warsaw. Two-car collison. Drivers: Stephanie Denlinger, 26, 7th St., Winona Lake; Andrew Windbigler, 28, North Columbia Street, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500.?WPD.
• 8:50 p.m. Tuesday – Intersection of Fisher Avenue and Rozella Road,?Warsaw. Two-car collison. Drivers: Miranda Archer, 40, Fisher Avenue, Warsaw; Makayla Roberts, 16, CR 200W, Claypool. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.

• 1:12 p.m Tuesday – Police responded to a man making suicidal statements. WPD.
•1:13 a.m today – A woman reported criminal mischief in the 100 block of Pequiqnot Drive, Pierceton. Kosciusko County?Sheriff’s Department investigated.

The first ever boys volleyball sectional tournament game for Warsaw came against a familiar playoff foe. Facing off against Penn, the Tigers battled valiantly for four sets, but were unable to finish things off in a 3-1 loss.

American Legion Post 49 To Serve Ribeye Steak Saturday
Ribeye steak or strip with baked potatoes and a salad bar will be served at the American Legion Post 49, Warsaw, from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday. There will be karaoke starting at 7 p.m.
