KENDALLVILLE – After playing its first home match on Tuesday, Warsaw’s volleyball team hit the road again Wednesday, falling at East Noble 25-23, 25-16, 25-21 in a non-conference match.
Alexie Day had 10 kills to pace the Lady Tigers. Erin Peugh had 25 digs, and Kacy Bragg finished with 26 assists in the contest.
Warsaw’s junior varsity remained unbeaten in 10 matches with a 25-22, 25-22 win over the Lady Knights.  The Lady Tiger freshman team improved to 12-0 after its 25-16, 25-13 win.
 The Lady Tigers are now 8-7 overall and will host Columbia City on Tuesday.

Trojans Roll Wildcats
BOURBON – Triton earned three-set wins in both doubles matches to clinch a 4-1 win over visiting South Bend Riley in a non-conference boys tennis match Wednesday.
After handily winning the first set 6-1, the Trojans’ No. 1 doubles team of Keygan Moiser and Chase Butler dropped a second-set tiebreaker before coming back to take the match with another 6-1 win in the third set.
At No. 2 doubles, Grant Eib and Tyler Heckaman needed to win a second-set tiebreaker to stay in the match. The duo completed their comeback by winning the third set 6-4 in the last match completed.
Mace Eads and Carter Kuntz won in straight sets at No. 1 and No. 3 singles, respectively.
The Trojans will take a 5-6 record into Monday’s match at Bremen.

HUNTINGTON – For the first time this season, Manchester’s girls golf team lost a dual match, 167-186, to host Huntington North at Norwood Golf Club Wednesday.
Lydia Little led a balanced Lady Squire squad with a 45. Madyson Ulrey shot a 46, Kelsey Eichenauer a 47, with Karly Eichenauer and Samantha Kissel carding matching 48s.
The Lady Vikings’ Amara Eckert was the medalist with a 39.
Manchester travels to Warsaw’s Stonehenge Golf club to take on Triton and host Lady Tigers today, with first tee set for 4:30 p.m.

Whitko Boys Blanked
FORT WAYNE – Whitko freshman goalkeeper Nicholas Sanger had seven saves in the Wildcats’ 3-0 loss at Hamilton Wednesday night.
The Wildcats play a road match at noon Saturday against Woodlan High School.

Lady Squires Fall
NORTH MANCHESTER – The Huntington North Lady Vikings scored three goals in the first half and went on to get a road win, 5-0 over Manchester Wednesday night.
The Lady Squires are back in action at 5 p.m. today, hosting Eastbrook.

Valley Sets GBB Fundraiser
AKRON – The Tippecanoe Valley girls basketball program will host a fundraiser at The Igloo, 108 W. Main St., Silver Lake, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Sept. 20. The business will donate 20 percent of the proceeds during the event to the program.
