Wawasee Roundup: Warriors Go 1-2 in Wawasee Duals

Nate Perek won all three of his matches on the day at No. 2 singles. Evan Krueger won at No. 3 singles and Tim Conley and Dylan Staley won at No. 1 doubles in the Warriors’ win over the Jimmies.
Wawasee will host Goshen in Northern Lakes Conference play today.
Warriors Fall To Vikings, 2-1
HUNTINGTON – Carter Jones scored on an assist by Joe LeCount in Wawasee’s 2-1 loss at Huntington North Saturday.
“We had a strong performance out of our back line, and we’re starting to bring all three units of the team togethter,” said Wawasee head coach Jordan Sharp. “We’re looking forward to stringing together some wins.”
Wawasee fell to 1-5-1 overall, and hosts NorthWood Thursday.
