 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 2:40 p.m Wednesday – Jordan Alexandria Crisler, 20, of 603 N. Calvin St., Ligonier, arrested for battery. Bond: $600.
• 2:43 p.m Wednesday – Samuel Levi Crisler, 23, of 603 N. Calvin?St., Ligonier, arrested for battery. Bond: $600.
•4:52 p.m Wednesday – Marcus Terell?Washington, 19, Elkhart, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $283.
• 6:29 p.m Wednesday – Jason Lee Dutton, 32, of 1205 N. Pike St., Wabash, arrested on a warrant in a civil matter. Bond: $400.
•10:37 p.m Wednesday – Thomas Alvin Conway, 40, of 6886 E. CR 600, North Webster, arrested for a parole violation. No bond set.
•11:47 p.m Wednesday – Victor L. Howley, 53, of 1462 E. CR 900N, Milford, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.
• 3:42 a.m today – Joe Aminta Caudill, 41, of 1692 E. CR 200N, #145, Warsaw, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.

Incidents
• 7:40 a.m Wednesday – 800 block of East Clark Street, Warsaw. EMS called for assistance with a deceased male. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
•noon Wednesday – 1300 block of CR 200S, Warsaw. A woman reported theft of medication. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
• 12:14 p.m Wednesday – A person turned in a lost 127 pumpmaster in the 200 block of South Buffalo Street. WPD.
•3:52 p.m. Wednesday – A person complained of a hit-and-run to his vehicle at Warsaw Community High School.?WPD.
• 4:24 p.m. Wednesday – A subject resisted law enforcement with his vehicle in the 3400 block of North Detroit Street. WPD.

The first ever boys volleyball sectional tournament game for Warsaw came against a familiar playoff foe. Facing off against Penn, the Tigers battled valiantly for four sets, but were unable to finish things off in a 3-1 loss.

Ribeye steak or strip with baked potatoes and a salad bar will be served at the American Legion Post 49, Warsaw, from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday. There will be karaoke starting at 7 p.m.

WCHS Math Academic Super Bowl Team Finishes Second at State
On Saturday, the Warsaw Community High School (WCHS) Math Academic Super Bowl team competed in the state finals at Purdue University, earning a second-place finish in Class 1 (large school division).
