The fourth-annual Lincolnway Sporting Clays Classic, a fundraiser for the Anthony Wayne Area Council, Boy Scouts of America was held Friday at Back Forty Sporting Clays near Bourbon.

The Anthony Wayne Council serves 11 counties in northern Indiana, including the Lincolnway District of Kosciusko and Whitley counties. More than 5,000 scouts are supported. More than 40 shooters on nine different teams competed in this year’s event. Shooters engaged 100 targets at 10 different stations during the event, which raised approximately $7,000.

Sponsors included Silveus Insurance Group, Morgan Stanley, Barrel Grease Mark Lennart, Paragon Medical, Reeve Insurance, Design Collaborative, Weigand Construction and BKD LLP. Pictured is event organizer Paul Blair, Warsaw, taking down a clay pigeon.
