Working With A Disability

This is for anyone who has a disability and is currently looking for a job. People like you could end up being smacked with discrimination, just like me.
I had an interview with a fast-food restaurant in Fort Wayne more than a month ago. I had two years of experience, knew all the steps and equipment, and can quickly adapt to the position.
However, when me and my mom called today, the same person that interviewed me said that he didn't remember my name, nor did he remember my application. It wasn't until I actually went up there and talked to him that I found out they decided to go with someone else, yet I was never told this. So, I had him give me the corporate number and then I just left the parking lot in tears just thinking about that. They lost not just a customer, but a hard-working employee.
Let this be a warning to anyone looking for a job and has a disability. Don't end up being turned down because of who you are. Just remember that it's their loss for not hiring a hard-working member of the team such as yourself.
