Wrestling Camp, Club Open
AKRON – Tippecanoe Valley opens the wrestling year with two programs; the elementary camp and the Tippecanoe Valley Wrestling Club.
The camp will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Nov. 1-3 in the high school auxiliary gym, and is open to anyone grades K-5. Wrestlers and parents will enter the school through door 8 or 12. There is no charge for the clinic.
The Valley wrestling club meets Tuesday and Thursdays beginning Nov. 8 in the middle school commons. The club is open to students grades K-8.
These opportunities are not limited to Tippecanoe Valley students; children from any district are welcome to participate.
There are two methods of joining the club.
Green Club meets from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and includes an hour of instruction per night, allows entry to  all of the weeknight meets and a club shirt. Cost is $25.
Gold Club includes an extra 30 minutes of instruction and membership to compete in ISWA weekend tournaments as well as the local weeknight meets. It also allows the wrestler to attend other clinics, receive an insurance program and gain national news about wrestling. Cost is $60 (which includes the $35 USA wrestling card fee)
Both will be instructed by the Tippecanoe Valley wrestling staff, former wrestlers and guest coaches. If you have any questions, please contact coach Kyler Kearby at [email protected] or 574-598-2200.
