Actually, my letter is to Jeff Bridges of Avon, Colo., and those of leanings of which he wrote, in response to his of Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016.
What a warm and fuzzy one it was. It "sounds" like a utopian world.  And right here in Warsaw, Indiana.
Know that I strive (admittedly it's difficult oftentimes) to not be prejudiced and judgemental. However, and here comes that inevitable "but" ... why now, this "rally"? Voter registration: Afraid it's too late for this Nov. 08, 2016, election. Somehow that timing is askew. Another "but,” could it possibly be to influence how those who are already registered or somehow coming into this area to vote? Giving out the  "goodies" for those in attendance can go a long way to influence, particularly the uninformed.
What a well-organized event he has planned! Details covered. Red tape of getting the permission for the rally ... check! And then there's the “donations for a Warsaw LGBT Resource Center and start a chapter for PFLAG.”?That's to promote the lifestyle that many, many people do not believe in. Doesn't the "Bible tell us so?"
It seems to me that Warsaw and the whole of Kosciusko County has enumerable people, organizations, agencies, businesses, churches, etc. working on all of the issues that do need the help that Mr. B. suggests.
If what all of the LGBTs want/need to live their way, why not just do that, if they must, giving their talents along with those of the majority toward these philanthropic causes that are heartily being done?
