By Staff Report-

Junior Achievement of Kosciusko County is holding its annual Achieve-A-Bowl fundraising event from 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 5 at The Bowling Alley, 1535 N. Detroit St., Warsaw.
This year’s theme will be great fun and will focus on superheros in the community. There will be a trophy presented for the winning team that raises the most money, the best superhero costume and the best superhero team, a news release from JA states.
To get involved, gather a team of five friends, co-workers or family to bowl, designate a team captain, raise a total of $350 to support JA programs and come out for an afternoon of bowling, prizes and fun.
JA is a non-profit organization that provides in-school economic education for nearly 6,000 students in kindergarten through 12th grade in Warsaw, Tippecanoe Valley and Pierceton schools. Together with local community volunteers and teachers, they are “educating today’s youth about the basics of financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness,” the release states.
Participation in the Achieve-A-Bowl enables JA to bring these economic values to the classroom, encouraging students’ growth to reach their highest potential and in turn impact the community’s economic future, the release states.
