Celebration Planned Oct. 23 For Davis' 100th

A celebration is being planned in honor of Emogene Davis’ 100th birthday.
The event will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Oct. 23 at North Webster Community Center, 301 N. ?Main St.
Emogene was born in Rushville on Oct. 24, 1916. She was a telephone operator in Marion for many years.
She and her husband, Tom, owned and operated the ?Davis  Drive-In in North Webster in the 1950s and they also developed Joyland Mobile Park.
She has two sons, Dick and Tom; seven grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
