YMCA Pee-Wee Hoops Registration Open
Registration is going on now for Pee-Wee Basketball at the Kosciusko Community YMCA.  Pee-Wee Basketball is for children 3 years old to those in the first grade and is a great opportunity for kids to start learning the basic skills of basketball from the organization that created it. Equal playing time, safety, sportsmanship, cooperation, family involvement and having fun will be emphasized over winning.
There will be two divisions in the league, one for ages 3 to 4 and one for kids age 5 through first grade. There will be a 20-25 minute practice followed by a 20-24 minute game on Saturday mornings at the Parkview Warsaw YMCA for both divisions. Each division will play with age-appropriate equipment.
Games will be played on Saturdays from Nov. 5 to Dec. 10. Registration will continue through Oct. 28 with a late fee after Saturday. Players don’t have to be Y members to play.  Register online at www.kcymca.org or at either of our branches. Contact Zane Gard at [email protected] with any questions.
