Parks Dept. To Discuss Master Plan At Tuesday Meeting

The Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department is holding a public meeting for its 2017-2021 master plan at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Firemen’s Building, 1013 E. Arthur St., Warsaw.
The five-year action plan of park improvements will be presented, including projected costs and possible funding methods. This master plan is being developed to guide decisions about park improvements for the next five years and to remain eligible for grant opportunities. It illustrates the continuing effort of the Park Board to provide a well-balanced system of parks and recreation opportunities for all residents, according to a news release from the Parks Department.
The board will welcome ideas, comments and suggestions.
