Carol Anne Werstler, 73, formerly of Leesburg, passed away at 9:40 a.m. Oct. 12, 2016, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. 
She was born Dec. 21, 1942, in Peru, to Waldo and Ruth Fields Bostel. On Dec. 6, 1980, she was married to Daniel Rex Werstler, who passed away unexpectedly July 27, 2015. 
She was a 1961 graduate of Huntington High School. She was a 45-year resident of Kosciusko County. For a number of years she had worked as a legal secretary and bookkeeper. In 1971 she started working for Quality Farm & Fleet, Warsaw, for 29 years. Prior to her retirement in 2010, she had worked at Lowe’s, Warsaw.
She loved gardening, canning, baking and football, especially the Chicago Bears. She will be forever remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. 
She will lovingly be remembered by her son, Rodney (and wife Mindi) Poehler, Frankfort, Ohio; three daughters: April (and husband Tony) Kindig and Dawn (and husband Dennis) Boggs, both of Warsaw, and Robin Williamson, Leesburg; eight grandchildren: Danielle, Andrea, David, Briana, Carissa, Dean, Taby and Trevor; and two great-grandchildren, Addison and Luke. Also surviving are her brother, Dick (and wife Shelly) Fields, Plainfield; and her sister, Priscilla (and husband Thames) Goon, Warsaw. 
She also was preceded by her parents and her son, Michael. 
Her funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, and officiated by Chaplain Anne Mitchell. A graveside service will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton. 
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
