IHSAA Announces Pairings For 45th Annual Volleyball Tournament

Warsaw hosts a seven-team Class 4A sectional, and will take on Elkhart Memorial in the first round on Oct. 20. The winner will take on the Goshen/Concord winner in the second semifinal on Oct. 22, with the championship match at 7 p.m. that evening. On the other side of the bracket, Elkhart Central takes on Penn on Oct. 18, with the winner playing Northridge in the first semifinal.
Tippecanoe Valley and Wawasee will play in the 3A Fairfield Sectional. The Lady Vikings will take on West Noble in the second match on Oct. 20, after the conclusion of the Lakeland/Fairfield match. Winners of those two matches face off in the first semifinal at 11 a.m. Oct. 22.
Wawasee and NorthWood got first-round byes and play each other in the second semifinal Oct. 22. The championship match will be at 5 p.m. that day.
In Class 2A, Whitko plays in the Central Noble Sectional and takes on Fremont in the opening match Oct. 18. The winner takes on LaVille in the semifinals. On the other side of that bracket, Westview plays Prairie Heights and Bremen plays Central Noble.
Manchester plays Oak Hill in the first round of the 2A Rochester Sectional and with a win would take on the winner of the Northfield/Rochester match. Wabash and Southwood face off on the other side of the bracket, with the winner playing Cass in the semifinals.
Triton will take on North Miami in the Class 1A Oregon-Davis Sectional, with the winner taking on either South Central (Union Mills) or Argos. LaCrosse plays the host school, with the winner taking on Culver Community on the other side of the bracket.
Lakeland Christian will take on the host Hamilton Lady Marines in the opening match of that 1A sectional Oct. 18.
The winner will play Bethany Christian in the semifinals. On the other side of the bracket, Lakewood Park Christian plays South Bend Career Academy, and Fort Wayne Blackhawk plays Elkhart Christian.
