Football Sectional Pairings Announced

In Class 6A sectional play begins with semifinals Oct. 28. Warsaw will host Carroll in Sectional 3, with Fort Wayne Northrop playing in the other semifinal at Homestead.
Classes 4A-1A open sectional play Oct. 21. In Class 4A’s Sectional 19, Wawasee opens play at Northridge, with the winner of that game playing the Columbia City at NorthWood winner Oct. 28.
Tippecanoe Valley opens 3A Sectional 26 play at home against West Noble. The winner of that contest takes on the Heritage at Jimtown winner in the semifinals.
Manchester will host Delphi in the first game of Class 2A’s Sectional 34, with the winner of that contest taking on the Wabash at Bremen winner in the semifinals.
Whitko will travel to Albion to take on Central Noble in the opening round of Class 2A’s Sectional 35, with the winner taking on the Eastside and Churubusco winner in the semifinals.
Triton will travel to Fulton to take on Caston in Class 1A’s Sectional 43. The game is a rematch of Week 1 of the regular season; a game the Comets won 6-0. in Hoosier North Athletic Conference play. The winner between the Trojans and Comets will take on a Three Rivers Conference team, either Northfield or Southwood, in the semifinals.
Sectional championship games are scheduled for Nov. 4.
