4 Tigers, 3 Warriors Named To All-NLC Football Team

DUNLAP – Four student-athletes from Warsaw and three more from Wawasee were named to the 2016 Northern Lakes Conference football team. The squad was announced Monday afternoon.
Warsaw wide receiver/linebacker Jeremy David, quarterback Michael Jensen, kicker Andrew Mevis and wide receiver D’Andre Street were named to the squad. Mevis was also an All-NLC selection in soccer. Mason Faas and Will McGarvey were honorable mention.
Linebacker Paul Mendoza, quarterback Tyler Smith and lineman Elisha Tipping represent Wawasee on the team. Trevor Harter was honorable mention.
The remainder of the team was:
Concord – Josh Gorball, Jack Leitzan, Grant Magnuson, Cedric Mitchell, Kaelen Taylor. Honorable mention – Dominick DeBroka, Brady Reed, Chance Wilson.
Goshen – Dylan Back, C.J. Detweiler, Rummel Johnson, Alec Lehr, Jeff Stoll, Steven Worlds. Honorable mention – Salomon Faustino, Diego Garcia, Tayler Glasgow.
Elkhart Memorial – Mark Brownlee, Nolan Grose. Honorable mention – Nathan Williams.
Northridge – Connor Graber, Jackson Jacobs. Honorable mention – Mason Troyer.
NorthWood – Payton Bear, Trey Bilinski, Andrew Miller, Drew Minnich, Caleb Newcomer, DeAndre Smart, Brayton Yoder, Bronson Yoder. Honorable mention – Will Ingle, Micah Lehman, Dylan Miller.
Plymouth – Caleb Koss, Nate LaFree, Tristen McMillen. Honorable mention – Jorge Quintana, Colten Schuler.
Nate Andrews of conference champion and 4A state runnerup NorthWood was tabbed coach of the year.
