In the first semifinal, Wawasee took a 28-25 win over the host Lady Trojans. Aubrey Schmeltz had eight points and Hannah Haines seven for the Lady Warriors, while Hannah Wanemacher had a game-high 13 for Triton.
Wanemacher hit six three-point shots and finished with 20 points in Triton’s 50-41 loss to Leo in the third place game.
Schmeltz scored 11 points in the championship game, and Haines hit a pair of treys for six points in Wawasee’s 42-29 loss to Lebanon.
Triton is now 1-7 and will open Hoosier North Athletic Conference play at LaVille Wednesday. Wawasee moved to 3-4 on the season and hosts West Noble Tuesday.
