Lloyd Robert Landis, 90, Warsaw, passed away at his residence at 10:15 a.m. Nov. 20, 2016. 
He was born Nov. 28, 1925, in North Manchester, to Lynn Leslie and Rhea M. Rager Landis. He was married on July 2, 1948, to Helen Irene Hartzler, who survives in Warsaw.  
He was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 60 years. He served as a corporal in the U.S. Army during World War II as a medic in Japan. 
Most of his life he farmed and raised sheep. He also worked at Playtime Products, Kinder Manufacturing, Uniroyal and Zimmer Inc. He was a mold press operator until his retirement from Zimmer Inc., Warsaw, in 1995.
Along with his wife, he will be lovingly remembered by his son: Larry (wife Teresa) Landis, Warsaw; daughter, Connie Morgan, Fort Myers, Fla.; three grandchildren: Andrea Landis and Dean Landis, both of Warsaw, and Laura (husband Cole) Foltz, Etna Green; a brother, LeRoy (wife Rose Anna) Landis, North Manchester; and his sister, Lauretta Moore, Macy. 
He was preceded by his parents, and a sister, Loreen Hoover. 
No visitation is planned. A private family graveside service will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Greg Hyatt. 
Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
