Triton, Valley Compete At Culver Academies Tourney

CULVER – Triton finished 3-2 and Tippecanoe Valley was 1-4 in the Culver Academies Early Bird Duals wrestling meet on Saturday.
Triton beat Knox 60-21, Culver Academies 37-30 and Valley 48-27. The Vikings beat Knox 36-20 and fell to Plymouth 70-6., Adams 60-36 and Culver Academies 65-6.
For Triton, Connor Pitney was 3-1 at 108 pounds and lost a match at 113; Bryce Swihart was 3-2 at 120, Nate Riggins was 3-2 at 126; Malachi Greene was 4-1 at 132; Marcus Brown was 4-1 at 138; Riley Chickering was 1-4 at 145; Ryan Snyder was 3-2 at 152; Wyatt Stephen was 0-5 at 170; Vincent Helton was 2-3 at 182; Cameron Scarberry was 4-1 at 195; Bryson Seitner was 3-2 at 220, and Billy Smith was 3-2 at 285.
For Valley, Jacob Eherenman was 3-2 at 113; Jordan Owens was 1-4 at 138; Chevy Teeter was 3-2 at 145; Dylan Warner was 3-1 and Jon Humes 1-0 at 152; Isaac Randall was 3-2 at 160; Tyler Manuszak was 3-1 at 170; and Joseph Irons was 0-5 at 182.
Triton will next compete at the Winamac invitational on Dec. 3. Valley will open Three Rivers Conference competition at Peru Nov. 30.

Get To Know The Team: Warsaw Captains Q&A
