The Warsaw Community Schools’ athletic department is preselling tickets for the Boys City Securities Hall Of Fame Classic at Chrysler Fieldhouse in New Castle on Friday, Dec. 30. Tickets are $10 each and are good for all four games of the tournament.
The tourney opens at 11 a.m. with No. 10 Logansport against No. 4 Lawrence North, followed by No. 5 Warsaw and top-ranked New Albany. The consolation game is at 6 p.m. and the championship at 7:45.
Tickets are available at all Warsaw home games and in the athletic office during school hours. Fans are asked to buy tickets in advance, as the athletic department bought 1,000 tickets as part of the agreement to be in the tournament.
The athletic department is also selling two new items which help support Tiger Athletics.
New travel mugs are available for $10 each. The mugs are stainless steel with orange lids and are great for hot or cold drinks. This new item is sponsored by Penguin Point, who is offering to give free coffee refills in the mug through May 15, 2017.
In addition, a new, 16-ounce Tiger glass is available for purchase. The glass features the orange “tiger claws” logo on the side.
The Tiger glasses cost $8 each, or two can be purchased for $15. Season ticket holders who buy their Hall of Fame tickets can get a $1 discount off one glass or $2 discount off two glasses.
