BOURBON – Plymouth bolted out to a 14-2 lead at the end of the first quarter, and went on to a 48-28 girls basketball win over Triton at the Trojan Trench Thursday.
Lady Trojan junior Hannah Wanemacher hit five shots, including four from three-point range, for a team-high 14 points. Allie Andrews led all scorers with 16 points for Plymouth.
Triton outrebounded the Lady Pilgrims 34-28, but turned the ball over 30 times in the game.
Next up for Triton (1-4) is a visit from NorthWood (4-1) on Tuesday.
