The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
•8:08 a.m. Wednesday – Carrington Jamall Hogue, 26, Fort Wayne, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $5,000.
• 9:27 a.m. Wednesday – Mark Alan Howard, 47, Converse, arrested for theft. Bond: $3,000.
•1:27 p.m. Wednesday – Christopher Gilbert, 24, of 704 N. Ind. 19,?Akron, arrested on a civil warrant. Bond: $7,100.
•5:14 p.m. Wednesday – Alice Marie Dillis, 52, of 302 W. Rochester St., Akron, arrested for theft. Bond: $600.
• 7:41 p.m. Wednesday – Destinee Nicole Prater, 20, of 9464 Ind. 13, Claypool, arrested for possession of a syringe, possession of a narcotic and on an Indiana warrant. Bond: $5,250.

•3:24 a.m. today – Intersection of South County Farm Road and CR 600 South, Warsaw, car hit utility pole. Driver: Bradley Blanton, 37, North Main Street,?Claypool. Injury: Blanton complained of neck pain. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

•4:27 a.m.?Wednesday – Intersection of CR 800 West and CR 640 North, Etna Green, car hit deer. Driver: Aaron Clevenger, 24, Tanager Drive, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. KCSD.
•1:01 p.m.?Wednesday – 955 Executive Drive, Warsaw, car hit parked vehicle registered to Audrey Bradley, CR 950 South,?Silver Lake. Driver: Larry Hollar, 16, North Williamson?Drive, Warsaw.?Damage: $1,000 to 2,500. KCSD. 
• 4:09 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of East?Center and Argonne Road, two-vehicle crash. Driver: Kaitlynn Kraft, 18, CR 100 East,?Claypool; Kurt Ringler, 42,?Bluffton. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD. 
•5:58 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of South Buffalo Street and Fisher Avenue,?Warsaw, car hit deer. Driver: Deborah Griffith, 63, Ranch Road,?Warsaw. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500.?WPD.

• 11:25 a.m. Tuesday – A lost purse was turned in to police in the 2800 block of Frontage Road, Warsaw. WPD.
• 1:05 p.m. Tuesday – An employee of Marathon Pak-A-Sak reported a blue Ford Ranger damaged a fuel pump in the 300 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. WPD. 
• 7:49 p.m. Tuesday – An employee at Walmart reported the theft of two cellphones in the 2500 block of Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. WPD.
•2:22 p.m. Wednesday – A resident reported theft of jewelry and a purse from a vehicle in the 400 block of West Market Street,?Warsaw. WPD.
•4:30 p.m.?Wednesday – An employee of Menards reported the theft of two power inverters in the 1000 block of Husky Trail,?Warsaw. WPD.
• 8:43 p.m. Wednesday?– A woman reported her house being broken into in the 4300 block of CR 450 West, Claypool. KCSD.
