Winona Literary Club
Entertaining with a piano prelude, Marilyn Roeber led members in a sing-along of “Bell Bottom Trousers. “President Carol Volkers opened the Nov. 2 meeting, Merri Bottorff led the collect and opening prayer. Hostesses were Donna Lehman and Evelyn Mottweiler assisted by Joan Wilcoxson.
Rose Marie Henning introduced Jonathan and Claire Keener, former MasterWorks pianists, who performed a classical solo and two duets. The Keeners, who have a year-old son, Levi, will be using classical music to share the gospel and build intentional relationships in a community art center in southern China in the Yunan province. Their plan is to leave in January.
Henning gave two book reviews from the “Heroes of Faith” series. She chose Gladys Aylward and Eric Liddell because of their Christian ministry in China. Both were exceptional missionaries, true servants of God, putting others first. Henning also briefly touched on “The Heavenly Man” by Brother Yun.

Kosciusko Kettleheads Homebrew Club
The Kosciusko Kettleheads Homebrew Club will meet at 3 p.m. Sunday at Mad Anthony's Lake City Taphouse.
Those interested in the fine art of fermentation are invited to attend, and all current, former or potential brewers are welcome.

Warsaw High School Class Of 1956
Classmates and friends of Warsaw High School class of 1956 will meet at noon Wednesday for lunch at Richard's Restaurant.
Those attending the Oct. 19 luncheon were Sue Vanator Bolinger, Dee Stone Lewis, Martha Fawley Light, Molly Phillips Warren, Jerry Frush, Dale Long, Tom Metzger, Harry Gigous, Connie and Jerry Craig, Mary Arnold and Ruth Casner.

Kosciusko Genealogy Group
The Kosciusko Genealogy Group will meet at the Old Jail Museum Genealogy Library, 121 N. Indiana St., from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday.
The program “Timelines” shares information on your personal timeline as well as historical timelines. Come and see how these apply to your ancestor’s lives, clues to migration and the value of knowing the happenings of the day.

Wednesday Night Bridge Group
The group had four tables at its Nov. 9 meeting, with the following winners: Ned VerHage, Mary Prescott, Tony Frazzetta, Jim Loser and Charlie Ker.
John and Janet Wagley are host and hostess for November.

Singles Meeting Friends
Five people attended the Nov. 9 meeting, which included much discussion on the results of the presidential election.
Mary has been in the hospital with pneumonia, but is home now.
Donna read an article about a pain remedy found in the Bible.
The group played cards the rest of the evening.
The group meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Martin’s Super Market.

North Webster Community Center
Winners for bridge at the North Webster Community Center SPEC on Nov. 10 were Richard Blank, first, and Wanda Wyrick, second.

Wyndham Garden Hotel Ladies Bridge
The Wyndham Garden Hotel Ladies Bridge group met Nov. 10. Winners were Ann Thallemer and Betty Walston.

Four Seasons Ladies Bridge
The Four Seasons Ladies Bridge group met Nov. 9 at the Wyndham Garden Hotel. Nanette Newland was hostess.
Winners were Erma Swank, Beth Hoffer, Jan Monteith and Barb Calhan.
