Legion Post Plans Friday Ceremony

The Center Lake Pavilion will be open by 10:15 a.m., with the music and program starting at 10:30 a.m. Warsaw Community High School band, directed by Tyler Claycomb, will provide the music.
At 10:40 a.m., the Armed Forces medley will be played. Veterans will be asked to stand when their branch’s anthem is played during the medley, if they are able.
American Legion Post 49 Commander Ray Bledsoe will give the welcome at 10:50 a.m.
At about 10:55 a.m., the Post’s Honor Guard will post the colors, and there also will be a tolling of the bells by Dick Dobbins. Attendees should stand, if they are able, and face east for the tolling. Bells also will be tolled at the county courthouse by Jeff Rabe and Jeff Puckett.
Chaplain Roy C. Blake will give the invocation at 11 a.m., followed by Bledsoe giving an introduction of the guest speaker.
The Rev. Henry Church will give the 2016 Veterans Day speech.
The program is anticipated to be concluded by about 11:45 a.m. Friday.
