Reiff Scores 23, Cumberland Nets 15 In Whitko’s Win

SOUTH WHITLEY – Senior Aly Reiff scored 23 points and Brianna Cumberland added 15 in No. 2 (Class 2A) Whitko’s 62-54 girls basketball win over Central Noble Tuesday night.
Ellie Snep had 10 points for the Lady Wildcats. Meleah Leatherman had a game-high 26 points for Central Noble.
The Lady Wildcats’ junior varsity extended its winning streak to 10 games, dating back to last season, with a 37-34 win over the Lady Cougars.
Whitko takes a 2-0 record into its first road game Friday night at Columbia City. Central Noble fell to 0-2.
