ROCHESTER —Edgar Grandville Wilcox, 94, Rochester, died at 10:26 a.m. Nov. 7, 2016, at Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester.
 

He served as a rifleman with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was honored with a Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars.
A celebration of his life will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester, with Pastor Don Meyer officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Fulton County  Honor Guard and the U.S. Army Honor Guard. Interment will be in New Oak Hill Cemetery.
Calling will be two hours prior to the service Friday in the funeral home.
