PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. — Donald Lee Evilsizor, 57, lost his battle with primary brain cancer on Nov. 4, 2016.
Don was born May 14, 1959, to Donald Leroy and Judy Gaerte Evilsizor in Columbia City.
He lived and worked in northeast Indiana until relocating to Port Charlotte in 2008.
He served in the U.S. Army and was proudly patriotic. He loved fishing and boating, and he was a wonderful husband, father and friend.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Christy Wiswell Evilsizor; his daughter, Jessica (spouse Brent) Bokhart, with two grandchildren, Carli and Carter, of Crawfordsville, . and stepdaughter Corryn Calhoun of London, England.
A gathering of friends and family is planned from 3 to 8 p.m. today at  his home, 209 E. Tarpon Blvd. NW, Port Charlotte.
As he requested, no other service is planned. ?His body is being donated for medical education and research.
Arrangements are by Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, Cemetery and Crematory. 
Cremation will follow at a later date.
