Stanley Custer and Phyllis Evans were united in marriage on Nov. 17, 1946, in Milford Christian Church, with Pastor Harry Graham officiating.
Stan was a drainage contractor for years. He built and operated Big Boulder Golf Course, Milford, and later built and operated Little Bighorn Golf Course, Warsaw.
Phyllis was a stay-at-home mom and later managed their golf course clubhouse.
Togther they raised three sons:?Darrell (and spouse Mabel)  Custer and Dale (and spouse Peg Custer), both of Milford, and Dwight Custer, Florida. They have six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Through their 70 years together they traveled  extensively, visiting every state in the U.S. and every province in Canada, most of Europe, Central America and Mexico.
They also took a number of cruises.
A quite celebration is planned.
