WINONA LAKE – Talented young musicians from Kosciusko County and the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Youth Orchestra will come together to perform a benefit for The Beaman Home at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
The performance will be held at the Winona Lake Heritage Room, 901 Park Ave., Winona Lake, and there will be a donation taken at the concert.
The public is invited to attend as this group of young people entertain the audience with a variety of musical styles, including classical, contemporary, Celtic and jazz.
Local musicians include Anna Stout, Lydia Stout, Levi Stout, Noah Diaz and Caleb Remocaldo. Those from the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Youth Orchestra include Anna Stout, Morgan Bland, John Sarno, Jodi Sarno, Miles Nicholson and Mishael Paraiso. The group will show off their talent on the piano, violin, viola, cello and electric violin.
“We believe that nobody is too young to have an impact on an individual, a community or the world,” said Lydia Stout, the organizer of the concert. “Since my sister and I both play instruments, we decided to organize a fundraising concert for a local non-profit. We chose The Beaman Home because they have a direct impact on improving the lives of people in our community, and we are glad to have the opportunity to raise money for this cause.”
Admission is free and all proceeds from the donation taken at the concert will benefit The Beaman Home.
Beaman Home has provided services to Kosciusko, Fulton and Marshall Counties’ victims of domestic violence and their children since 1985.
